Installation of emergency power cabinets - Project The Hague

For a project in The Hague, Move Industries installed several emergency power cabinets in a lowered basement room. After delivery at our warehouse, the cabinets, equipped with lithium batteries, were transported to the project site under ADR conditions. The largest panels had dimensions of 1570 mm (W) x 1350 mm (D) x 2380 mm (H) and weighed approximately 2700 kg each.

On site, the batteries were first removed from the cabinets. The cabinets were then tilted with a truck-mounted crane equipped with double winches and lifted towards the basement opening. Due to the limited clearance height of 2000 mm, tilting was necessary.

At the basement, a tracked vehicle was ready for internal transport to the lowered space. The passage had a height of 2750 mm, while the diagonal tipping point of the cabinets was 2740 mm - with only 10 mm of clearance, it could be passed precisely.

In the basement, the cabinets were re-tilted and straightened using a mini hydraulic gantry specially developed for this project and a compact mini crane. The basement had a height of 2750 mm, while the diagonal tipping point of the cabinets was 2740 mm - with only 10 mm of clearance, the whole thing could be tilted precisely.

After positioning at the final location, the batteries were replaced.
